L. T. Taylor Intermediate School is rated a "A" school by the state of Mississippi. We are located at 159 Mable Street in Lucedale, Mississippi. We have approximately 300 third, fourth, fifth, and sixth grade students. LTTIS has a Schoolwide Title I Program. Our teachers have high expectations for all our students and strive to meet the individual needs of each student. LTTIS students receive instruction on their individual reading and math levels in small groups. Our teachers and assistants also provide small group and one-on-one help as needed. Students work in the computer lab each day to improve reading, language, math, and science skills. Our students participate in the Accelerated Reading program in an outstanding manner every year. We have several active student organizations: Chess Club, Drama, Garden, and Book Club.
